Hi everyone:
General Plan Update Note: A quick note to remind
all of you that the Butte County Department of
Development Services staff will be following up the
recent workshop on April 13th and Planning
Commission meeting on April 27th with a meeting with
the Board of Supervisors on May 23, 2006, at 1:30
pm. At this meeting, staff will request the
following from the Board of Supervisors:
1. Direct the Department of Development Services to
release a Request For Proposals (RFP) as amended,
for the selection of a consulting firm(s) to perform
a comprehensive General Plan/Zoning Ordinance Update
and Environmental Impact Report for Butte County.
2. Approve the Steering Committee Resolution and
Application Form.
3. Create a two-member subcommittee of the Board of
Supervisors to assist the Department of Development
Services throughout the General Plan/Zoning
Ordinance Update process.
4. Review and provide input to staff on the Working
Draft Framework of Guiding Principles.
