Development Services staff (Tim Snellings & Chuck Thistlethwaite) provided an update to the Airport Land Use Commission at their regularly scheduled meeting on the status of Butte General Plan 2030.  A copy of the Briefing Book was provided to each member of the Commission who was present.  An explanation of the current and future meetings was covered.

A good discussion was held about how to connect the 2000 Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) and Butte General Plan 2030.  It appeared that the CLUP needed to be revisited and possibly updated to reflect some changes/issues that have arisen in the last 7 years. 

Development Services staff will discuss this matter with the General Plan 2030 Consultant Team and report back to ALUC on a plan to make sure the efforts are coordinated.
