Hello Everybody:
As you know, tonight, September 6, 2007 from 5-9 pm
at the Little Chico Creek Elementary School, 2090
Amanda Way, Chico, is our next Citizens Advisory
Committee (CAC) meeting. As usual, we have a VERY
full agenda. If you have some time today AND you
have a fast internet connection AND you are planning
on attending tonight’s meeting, I would encourage
you to visit our website for this meeting at
http://www.buttegeneralplan.net/cac and click on
today’s meeting date and view the CAC Meeting Cover
Letter, the Potential Change Areas - Summary Table,
and the information about new additional potential
change areas and the variety of maps available
(warning, the maps are 5 meg files, so they will
take awhile to download).
The goal of tonight’s meeting
is to complete the CAC’s review of the potential
change areas and the creation of a variety of
alternatives (one of which includes keeping the
potential change area ‘as is’) and be ready to
forward this information from Workshop Series 2/3 to
the Planning Commission for its review/input to the
Board of Supervisors.
For all who will be attending this meeting, we look
forward to seeing you tonight. If you are unable to
attend, but would like to provide written comments
on this workshop series, feel free to send your
comments to
dbreedon@buttecounty.net.
