Hi everyone:

We are moving forward with Butte County General Plan 2030.

We are taking the exciting next steps in Workshop Series #4, the Selection of a Preferred Alternative. With 34 Study Areas (31 in the unincorporated County), we are in the debate & selection phase of the project. What’s next?  In order to efficiently move forward, we have arranged 3 meetings with our Citizens Advisory Committee this month.  Each meeting is located in a different geographic area where those specific Study Areas will be debated. Here’s the plan:

1) 2008-04-10 (Thursday) - Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting - Workshop Series #4-2A | Meeting Location: Paradise High School Cafeteria - 5911 Maxwell Drive, Paradise | 5:00 - 9:00 pm

Study Area 5: Magalia/Paradise Pines
Study Area 7: Concow
Study Area 10: Skyway/Neal Road
Study Area 12: Southeast Paradise Specific Plan Study Area
Study Area 13: South Paradise/Pentz Road
Study Area 20: Highway 191 Clark Road/Durham Pentz

Each of these meetings will have lots of time for CAC members to discuss, debate and recommend which of the Study Areas should be included in the Preferred Alternative, from which, along with Policies to be developed in Workshop Series #5, will form the basis of Butte County General Plan 2030.
