Hi everyone:

As many of you are aware, we have two very important Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) meetings within the next 8 days.

The first is this Thursday, April 17, 2008. It will be held at Checker’s Restaurant, 109 Table Mountain Blvd, Oroville from 5-10 pm (please note, we expect this meeting to go late as we have 13 Study Areas to review). The 13 Study Areas include the South County study areas (view list and map on our website). The purpose of the meeting is for the CAC to make a recommendation for an Alternative for each Study Area based on information provided to date.

We’re planning for ½ hour of public comment to begin at 5:30 pm before the CAC starts their discussion. Please visit our website at http://www.buttegeneralplan.net/ebinder/2008/2008-04-17 for all of the latest information, as well as lots of information provided to the CAC for this meeting.

The final CAC meeting in Workshop Series #4 is scheduled for next week, Thursday, April 24, 2008. It will be held at the Little Chico Creek Elementary School - 2090 Amanda Way, Chico. It will probably be a late meeting as well as there are 11 Study Areas that will be evaluated and an alternative recommended by the CAC. The 11 Study Areas include the Chico Area Study Areas. Please visit our website at http://www.buttegeneralplan.net/ebinder/2008/2008-04-24 for all of the latest information. This information will be posted early next week.

For the most up to the minute information about Workshop Series #4 (and other announcements), please visit http://www.buttegeneralplan.net today. If you have any questions, feel free to email dbreedon@buttecounty.net .

We look forward to seeing you soon, Tim
