Hi everyone:
The wind is at our backs and we are fast sailing
toward our destination of a new General Plan and
Zoning Ordinance for Butte County. Last week, we
were in Paradise addressing Study Areas all around
the Town. This week it was Oroville, which included
discussions of Biggs, Gridley, Bangor, Lake Oroville
and more. Next week, on Thursday, April 24th, we’ll
be in Chico to discuss 11 Study Areas around/near
Chico. The meeting will begin at 5 pm and will be
held at the Little Chico Creek Elementary School -
2090 Amanda Way, Chico. This is the 3rd meeting
this month for Workshop Series #4 with our Citizens
Advisory Committee. The focus of this Series is the
creation of a Preferred Alternative. If you have a
chance to review some material in advance of the
meeting, lots of information has just been posted at
http://www.buttegeneralplan.net/ebinder/2008/2008-04-24
.
We will have a public comment period from 5:30-600
pm. Lots of work ahead of us, but we are well
on our way.
For the most up to the minute information about
Workshop Series #4 (and other announcements), please

We look forward to seeing you soon, Tim
