Hi everyone:

1) As many of you are aware, our May 1, 2008 Citizens Advisory Committee meeting ran late after much public comment and discussion of 9 re-opened Study Areas by the Citizens Advisory Committee. We had to leave the building due to the late hour. We have scheduled a continuance meeting to finish up with the last 4 re-opened Study Areas.

This meeting will take place on May 8, 2008 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the following location (sandwiches will be served starting at 4:45 pm):

Oroville Sports Club Meeting Room (enter doors, room is on the right), 2600 Oro Dam Blvd, Oroville, Ca 95966, (530)538- 0123.

We will pick-up exactly where we left off beginning with Study Area 14: Nance Canyon/Highway 99 and then consider the following additional Study Areas that were re-opened for discussion:

¨ Study Area 10: Skyway/Neal Road

¨ Study Area 17: Durham

¨ Study Area 18: Durham Dayton/Highway 99

2) Once the above work is completed this Thursday, our project moves to the Planning Commission the very next day, this coming Friday, May 9, 2008. At the Planning Commission, we will continue Workshop Series 4 as outlined in our Workshop Series process. The meeting will be held in the Butte County Board of Supervisors Chambers starting at 9:00 am.
