This meeting will focus on the Deer Herd Study
and Mapping recently completed in conjunction
with the Butte County General Plan 2030
process. Protection of migratory deer herd
resources and the land use implications of those
protection measures are a key issue in the Butte
County General Plan 2030 process. The purpose
of this meeting is to present the Draft Deer
Herd Study to the Board of Supervisors and the
Planning Commission and to address questions and
comments about the study and process. The
meeting is open to the public who are encouraged
to attend and provide comments or questions.

The Deer Herd Study will be used to implement
General Plan and Zoning Designations under Butte
County General Plan 2030 in areas of Butte
County subject to migratory deer herds.
