Greetings everyone:
Just a reminder that the Board
of Supervisors will be reviewing the work on
organization (as well as recommendations for
optional elements) of Butte County General Plan 2030
that took place by the Citizens Advisory Committee
on June 5 and by the Planning Commission on July 24,
2008. This is scheduled for review tomorrow,
Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Direction provided by the
Board on Butte County General Plan 2030 organization
will be used during the next phase of the update
process, Goals and Policy Development. Since this is
on the "Regular" agenda and not a timed item, I
would recommend arriving at 9:00 am if you are
interested in hearing this discussion or providing
any comment. The Board’s Chambers are located at 25
County Center Drive in Oroville.

Also, just as a reminder, the
first meeting of the Goals and Policy Development
(Meeting Series 5) will take place on Monday,
September 8 at 5:00 pm at the Southside Community
