As a County project
that began with a community meeting on
April 13, 2006 (Charting the
Course), the citizens, businesses,
cities, special districts, schools and
County staff have journeyed together for
4 1/2 years to create the newly adopted
General Plan for Butte County.
This document includes a variety of
innovative Goals, Policies and Actions
that set a vision for priorities of
Butte County for the next 20 years.
It also incorporated optional elements
for
Agriculture,
Water Resources,
Economic Development and
Public Facilities & Services.
We began with a public discussion, so it
is only fitting that we would conclude
with a public gathering.
