Hi everyone:
I wanted to remind you of two
very important meetings coming up concerning Butte
County General Plan 2030:
Two joint Board of Supervisors
and Planning Commission meetings are scheduled to
take place on January 19 and 21, 2010. Both meetings
will begin at 9:00 am in the Butte County Board of
Supervisors Chambers. These meetings are the last
meetings to be held under Butte County General Plan
2030 Meeting Series 7, devoted to the final review
of the Draft Butte County General Plan 2030, Land
Use Map and Circulation Map. The Elements and
Chapters, including the Land Use Map and Circulation
Map will be reviewed during each of the two meetings
as follows:

- Introductory Chapters and
Glossary
- Land Use Element and Land
Use Map
- Conservation and Open
Space Element
- Circulation Element and
Circulation Map
Thursday, January 21, 2010
- Economic Development
Element
- Public Facilities and
Services Element
- Agriculture Element
- Water Resources Element
- Health and Safety Element
(Including the Noise Element)
These meetings are open to the
public, who are encouraged to attend and provide
comment. A time for public comment will be provided
prior to the Board’s and Planning Commissions
deliberations on each of these items. The Staff
Report, Agenda and all exhibits for this meeting are
