Hi everyone:

Just a reminder that Meeting Series 8, which is devoted to the Zoning Ordinance Update is kicking-off with a Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting to be held this Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Main Cafeteria of Butte College, 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Oroville. The public is welcome to provide comment and to observe deliberations.

The Citizens Advisory Committee will help to develop a new Zoning Ordinance that will be consistent with the new General Plan 2030 draft, that will be responsive to the needs of Butte County and its citizens, and that will ultimately lead to the successful implementation of Butte County General Plan 2030.

The Draft Zoning Ordinance will be available for public review in May, and a Public Workshop is scheduled for June 23, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Southside Center, 2959 Lower Wyandotte Road, Oroville, to familiarize the public with the new draft Zoning Ordinance and to accept public input.
