Hi everyone:
As usual, lots to report with
Butte County General Plan 2030. Here’s the calendar
for the next few weeks as we get ready to adopt our
new General Plan on September 29, 2010.
1) 2010-08-16 - TONIGHT on
Channel 12, 7 pm, there will be a broadcast showing
the July 28, 2010 Draft Zoning Ordinance public
workshop.
2)
2010-08-19
–
Planning Commission Workshop 2 reviewing the Draft
Zoning Ordinance (Part 2, Articles 9- 10), including
the draft zoning map for Chico, Nord and Cohasset
areas.
3)
2010-08-24
–
Board of Supervisors Meeting at 1 pm to review
several final clean-ups including staff and public
requests/recommendations, finalize airport land use
consistency issues, review and provide direction to
staff on the Action Plan.
4) 2010-08-30
–
Release of the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR)
for Butte County General Plan 2030.
5)
2010-09-02 -
Planning Commission Workshop 3 reviewing the Draft
Zoning Ordinance (Articles 11-17), including the
draft zoning map for Forest Ranch, Butte Meadows and
Jonesville areas.
6) 2010-09-09
–
Planning Commission Hearings on the development of
recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on Butte
County General Plan 2030, the Action Plan and the
FEIR.
7)
2010-09-16 -
Planning Commission Workshop 4 reviewing the Draft
Zoning Ordinance (Articles 18-24), including the
draft zoning map for the Paradise, Magalia, Concow,
Yankee Hill and Stirling City areas.
8)
2010-09-29
–
Board of Supervisors Hearings for consideration of
the certification of the FEIR and adoption of Butte
County General Plan 2030.
