2011-03-12 (Saturday) Berry Creek Community Meeting

Meeting Summary: Supervisor Bill Connelly and DDS Director Tim Snellings met with members of the Berry Creek Community. They discussed the process of creating the new General Plan. Included in General Plan 2030, on pages 60 and 66, there is discussion about the Berry Creek Overlay (which was requested by the Berry Creek Community) and the vision for the community to work together to write an Area Plan. Mr. Snellings reviewed this with the members of the public. He encouraged them to form a committee that could begin to address this vision. Once that was completed, they could work with Development Services staff on finding and possibly pursuing a Grant Application for a consultant to help them write their plan.
