2030 Discussion Forum...This is
the place to post your comments regarding Butte County’s
General Plan 2030 project, a 3-year process scheduled to
conclude with the adoption of a new, comprehensive Butte
County General Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and Environmental
Impact Report, in September 2009. This

specifically designed to gather public comment in
coordination with the
Project
Tasks and Meeting Series,
which describes the work plan and all the necessary tasks
that are a part of the Butte County General Plan 2030
project. The public’s active participation in this process
is the key to the adoption of a successful General Plan that
serves the public’s interest. Your input during this
process is valued. Comments and information from the

will be provided to the Butte County General Plan 2030
Citizens Advisory Committee, the Butte County Planning
Commission, and the Butte County Board of Supervisors.
Staff requests that you keep your comments focused on issues
related to the Butte County General Plan 2030 process; staff
reserves the right to remove inflammatory or derogatory
comments posted to the forum.
