Plan 2030 Zoning Ordinance (ZO) Final Draft, General Plan
Amendment (GPA)
2012-05-31 Welcome to the
Butte County General Plan 2030 Zoning Ordinance (ZO) Final
Draft, General Plan Amendment (GPA) and Draft Supplemental
EIR (DSEIR)
homepage. The Zoning Ordinance has been developed
through a public process over the past two years and MANY
public meetings. The General Plan Amendments are also
the result of discussions that have occurred in the past 24
months. Both documents represent direction provided by
the Board of Supervisors to staff on February 14, 2012. The DSEIR is
supplementary to the
General Plan 2030
Programmatic EIR (certified October 26, 2010) and addresses environmental
impacts of the project (the GPA and ZO).
The next steps are as follows:
- Planning Commission Hearing to receive comments on the
DSEIR (June 14, 2012)
- Release Final SEIR (July/August 2012)
- Planning Commission Hearing to review documents and
provide recommendations to the Board of Supervisors (August
2012)
- Board of Supervisors Hearing to review documents,
certify the EIR and adopt the GPA and Final ZO
(September/October 2012)
